The Houston club began its history in 1962 and became the Astros in 1965 when it moved to the Astrodome, called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Since 2000, the Astros have played their home games at Minute Maid Park. In 2005, the club made its first World Series appearance. The Astros have had great players over the years, especially the “The Killer Bs”: Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Derek Bell, and Sean Berry. The current roster is led by the young All-Stars Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa.
