No Place Like Home

This group is dedicated to artwork that showcases various places around the world, including cities, hometowns, and other locations. Check out the group's images, contests, and discussion pages to help you find the perfect image for yourself. It's like going on an amazing road trip!

Group Rules:

1. The title, tags, or description must include the specific location of the depicted place.

2. The place must be a real one, but it does not have to be your actual hometown. It can be anywhere in the world.

3. To submit an image, you must be a premium member of FAA and have over 25 images uploaded, along with a profile photo/logo. New photography members are given a month to comply. Painters should proceed with due diligence.

4. We do not accept general images or close-ups of flowers, animals, or birds unless the image is wide enough to show the place. Additionally, we do not accept images of planes, trains, or automobiles as the focus of the work. General sunset images will not be accepted unless the place is shown. When submitting an image, please ask yourself if it showcases a place or if it focuses on a specific subject like a bird, flower, or animal.

5. No macros or close-ups. We want to see the place.

6. All media types are accepted, but the content must be family-friendly and free of any nudity.

7. If the image does not follow the above rules, it will be rejected. The final decision on conformity is made by the moderators.

Please note that all images you upload must adhere to our rules. Simply mentioning a place in the tag or description does not make it an image of that place. Please provide specific details.ls about the image. Think of the image as a travelogue or a road trip, and ask yourself whether someone could visit the location based on your description. For instance, instead of writing 'shore of Lake Michigan' or 'Great Lakes region', please use 'view of Lake Michigan from the Chicago Art Museum' or something similar. I appreciate your cooperation.

There are several discussions in the group where you can participate in promoting yourself, promoting others, or both. Engaging in these discussions can increase your visibility on the platform. Please use the existing discussion threads instead of creating new ones for features or thank you messages. This will help keep the discussion page organized and clear. If you have an idea for a discussion thread that everyone can use, feel free to create it.
