When a buyer purchases a product from the franchise's website, Pixels handles the logistics of printing, manufacturing, and fulfilling the order and then shares the proceeds of each sale with the franchise and the artist whose product was purchased.
In the traditional frame-shop business model, local framers are responsible for framing individual prints and posters that are brought into their stores by walk-in customers. The product offering is generally limited (framed prints only), and the customer base is often limited, as well (walk-in customers only).
