The Detroit Tigers pitching staff with manager Mickey Cochrane in the dugout at Navin Field during the American League pennant doubleheader against the St. Louis Browns, Detroit, Michigan, September 21, 1935. From left: Schoolboy Rowe (1910 - 1961), manager and catcher Mickey Cochrane (1903 - 1962), Elden Auker, Tommy Bridges (1906 - 1968), and Alvin Crowder (1899 - 1972).
